Hello, I'm Vendetta Robinson, and today is the day that life in prison just got a little bit better for you. If you are reading this, know that I was once in your shoes. Having spent over ten years in the Connecticut Department of Corrections, I understand the struggles of being overlooked and underserved. After all, I was once prisoner number 257859, a number I'll never forget. My time inside taught me invaluable lessons, often learned the hard way.

 

Throughout my sentence, a persistent thought kept nagging at me: "I wish." I wish I could have access to simple comforts, reaching out to loved ones easily, or receiving information or items in a timely manner. Recognizing the universal frustrations among my fellow inmates, I conceived the idea of a service dedicated to meeting these needs.
