What it is

 

Every state guide lists each correctional facility's address and phone number, the warden (or superintendent), and the published visiting schedule. It also names the state's commissioner of corrections, and includes community resources: treatment help, shelter and emergency housing, and crisis and safety numbers.

 

One honest note: schedules change. Always call the facility to confirm before you go. Every guide says so, because it's true.
