Idaho Department of Corrections: What Families Need to Know (2026)
Idaho's guide, from the Idaho Department of Correction under Director Bree Derrick, lists nine in-state facilities, most of them clustered around Kuna, plus two out-of-state facilities in Arizona: Saguaro Correctional Center in Eloy and Central Arizona Florence Correctional Center in Florence, both listed by the department as out-of-state facilities. Each entry gives the facility's address, phone number, contact e-mail, and warden.
There is no statewide visiting schedule in Idaho. Facility hours appear on the department's Visiting Hours pages, and visits are scheduled through ICSolutions where required. One practical wrinkle: the department's website was undergoing maintenance as of November 2, 2026, and the department directs families to contact the facility directly for visiting information, so a phone call is the reliable route.
The guide also lists the department's community reentry centers, in East Boise, Idaho Falls, Nampa, Treasure Valley, and Twin Falls, with phone numbers for each, and central-office general assistance at 208-658-2000. Several facilities list a P.O. Box mailing address in Boise, so check the entry for your loved one's facility before sending anything.
